HCO-(Fe3O4)x復(fù)合吸附劑吸附去除Sb(Ⅲ)和Sb(Ⅴ)的差異及機(jī)理

摘 要: 采用共沉淀法將Fe3O4摻雜在富含鈰研磨拋光污泥(Hydrous ceric oxide, HCO)中制備出一種新型HCO-(Fe3O4)x復(fù)合吸附劑,分別以Sb(Ⅲ)和Sb(Ⅴ)為處理對(duì)象,考察了Ce和Fe的摩爾比、pH、投加量和時(shí)間對(duì)HCO-(Fe3O4)x吸附除銻的影響,并研究了不同n(Ce)/n(Fe)時(shí)的等溫吸附模型、吸附動(dòng)力學(xué)和吸附機(jī)理。結(jié)果表明:當(dāng)n(Ce)/n(Fe)為1:0.67和1:1、pH為3和2、溫度為35 ℃條件下,HCO-(Fe3O4)x對(duì)Sb(Ⅲ)和Sb(Ⅴ)的最大吸附量分別可以達(dá)到46.00 mg/g和58.34 mg/g,能有效去除水中的銻離子;HCO-(Fe3O4)x吸附Sb(Ⅲ)和Sb(Ⅴ)過程均符合Langmuir等溫吸附模型和準(zhǔn)二級(jí)反應(yīng)動(dòng)力學(xué)模型,以化學(xué)吸附為主。EDS、XRD和XPS等表征結(jié)果顯示:HCO與Fe3O4的復(fù)合制備提高了比表面積并形成了FeCe2O4、FeOOH、Fe3O4和Fe2O3等無定型鐵氧化物,為吸附過程中Fe-O-Sb和Ce-O-Sb絡(luò)合物的形成提供了條件,從而促進(jìn)了Sb(Ⅲ)和Sb(Ⅴ)的吸附去除。

Difference and mechanism of Sb(Ⅲ) and Sb(Ⅴ) adsorption and removal by HCO-(Fe3O4)x

Abstract:A new HCO-(Fe3O4)x composite adsorbent was prepared by co-precipitation method in cerium-rich grinding and polishing sludge(hydrous ceric oxide, HCO), with Sb(Ⅲ) and Sb(Ⅴ) as treatment materials, respectively. The effects of molar ratio of Ce and Fe, pH, dosage and time on the adsorption of antimony by HCO-(Fe3O4)x were investigated. The isothermal adsorption model, adsorption kinetics and adsorption mechanism of HCO-(Fe3O4)x were studied. The results show that HCO-(Fe3O4)x can effectively remove antimony ions from water, and the maximum adsorption capacities of Sb(Ⅲ) and Sb(Ⅴ) can reach 46.00 mg/g and 58.34 mg/g, respectively, under the conditions of molar ratio of Ce and Fe of 1:0.67 and 1:1, pH of 3 and 2, and temperature of 35 ℃. The adsorption processes of Sb(Ⅲ) and Sb(Ⅴ) by HCO-(Fe3O4)x are both in accordance with Langmuir isothermal adsorption model and quasi-second-order reaction kinetics model, with chemical adsorption as the mainstay. The characterization results of EDS, XRD and XPS show that the composite preparation of HCO and Fe3O4 increases the specific surface area and forms amorphous iron oxides, such as FeCe2O4, FeOOH, Fe3O4 and Fe2O3, which provides conditions for the formation of Fe-O-Sb and Ce-O-Sb complexes in the adsorption process and promotes the adsorption removal of Sb(Ⅲ) and Sb(Ⅴ).
