摘 要: 該文作者從1961年開始進行稀土元素在鐵基、鎳基、銅基、鋁基等約百個2~4元金屬溶液體系的熱力學、相平衡及在20多個金屬材料(包括稀土-鐵超磁致伸縮材料)中的作用與應用研究，該文依據(jù)作者所在科研組的研究成果并參考一些文獻，說明了稀土元素在金屬材料中的作用和機理。

Abstract:The effect and mechanism of rare earth elements in metals were explained briefly, based on our studies finished since1961 about the thermodynamics and phase equilibria of nearly 100 liquid systems of two to four components containing rare earth elements in Fe-, Ni-, Cu-, Al-base liquid solutions and the effect and application of more than twenty metals including supermagnetostrictive materials,sa well as on some references taken from other researchers.
