摘 要: 采用熱壓燒結工藝制得了2%C/MoSi2(質量分數)復合材料,并測定了材料的顯微組織和結構、室溫和高溫力學性能、耐磨性能以及電阻率。結果表明:C/MoSi2復合材料由大量的MoSi2、多量的Mo5Si3和少量的β-SiC組成,其硬度Hv為1 060,抗彎強度為470 MPa,斷裂韌性為5.12 MPa·m1/2,800 ℃的硬度Hv為750,1 200 ℃的抗壓強度為450 MPa,1 400 ℃的抗壓強度為142 MPa; 在Al2O3和SiC磨盤上表現(xiàn)出優(yōu)異的耐磨性能,材料的電阻率為349 nΩ·m。與純MoSi2相比,2% C/MoSi2復合材料在硬度、抗彎強度、斷裂韌性、高溫抗壓強度、彈性模量和耐磨性能等方面都有較大的提高。

Abstract:Carbon reinforced molybdenum-disilicide composite (2%C/MoSi2) was fabricated by hot press sintering successfully. The microstructure, the mechanical properties at room temperature and at elevated temperature, the wear resistance and the resistivity of the composite were determined. C/MoSi2 composite has a phase constituent with much Mo5Si3 and β-SiC in MoSi2 matrix. The flexural strength, fracture toughness and Vickers hardness at room temperature are 470 MPa, 5.12 MPa·m1/2 and 1 060 Hv respectively. The compressive yield strength of the composite decreases from 450 MPa (1 200 ℃) to 142 MPa(1 400 ℃), Vickers hardness at 800 ℃ is 750 Hv. The wear resistance abraded on Al2O3 and SiC grind wheel is very excellent, and the resistivity is 34.9 μΩ·m.Compared with unreinforced MoSi2, C/MoSi2 composite has been improved at hardness, flexural strength, fracture toughness, compressive yield strength at elevated temperature, elastic modulus and wear resistance obviously.
