組織與性能的影響

摘 要: 采用無壓自浸滲法制備SiCp/Al復合材料。研究了Mg含量對SiCp與Al之間浸潤性的影響;探討了Mg含量對SiCp/Al復合材料的組織與性能的影響及其作用機理。結(jié)果表明,加入的Mg與SiCp表面的氧化物薄膜和鋁基體發(fā)生反應,生成物會阻止SiCp與Al基體反應生成Al4C3脆性相,同時SiCp表面的微反應也增加了基體與SiCp的結(jié)合強度,改善 了基體與SiCp之間的浸潤性,從而使復合材料的耐磨性提高了3~4倍。

Abstract:The SiCp/Al composites was fabricated by pressure less infiltration method, the behavior of different fraction of Mg addition on the microstructure an d mechanical properties was investigated. It indicates that MgAl2O4, a reaction product at the surface between oxide films of SiC and the matrix, can hinder the fragile Al4C3 which could be produced between SiC and the matrix directly. On the other hand it enhances the bonding between SiC and the matrix and improves the properties of the composites at the same time.
