摘 要: 為了改善活性炭的吸附性能, 以硫脲和甲醛為主要原料對(duì)活性炭進(jìn)行了改性,并對(duì)改性活性炭的吸附性能進(jìn)行了研究。 靜態(tài)吸附實(shí)驗(yàn)表明: 改性活性炭在酸性環(huán)境中比在堿性溶液中對(duì)Au3+的吸附能力要強(qiáng); 無論是對(duì)金的吸附容量還是在含有重金屬離子(Cu2+、 Ni2+和Zn2+)的混合溶液中吸附金的選擇性,改性活性炭都比一般活性炭強(qiáng)得多; 改性活性炭幾乎可將混合溶液中Au3+完全吸附,而對(duì)重金屬離子Ni2+和Cu2+的吸附率不到1/3。 改性活性炭對(duì)金的吸附符合Langmuir單分子層吸附規(guī)律。

Abstract: Activated carbon was modified by reacting activated carbon mainly with thiourea and formaldehyde in order to improve the adsorption performances of commercial activated carbon. The resultant modified activated carbon (MAC) was used in a range of gold adsorption tests. The results of the adsorption tests show that MAC is more suitable for gold adsorption in an acidic solution than in alkaline solution; and that MAC has strong adsorption capacity of gold and good adsorption selectivity of gold from ions, such as Cu2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+, in a solution, compared with non-modified activated carbon. Furthermore, gold adsorption on MAC adheres to the rules of monolayer adsorption of Langmuir.
