Abstract:Based on the digital pneumatic component named the combined digital valve, the counter-pressure casting control system for large thin-wall aluminum alloy components was developed, its control algorithm and the factors which have the effects on the control precision were also studied. The results show that the response velocity and control precision of the system are increased by controlling the area and time of the open valve using numerical increment control algorithm, and the property of the aluminum alloy casting produced by the control system is also improved effectively.
